So, what is Hara Healing and What does Hara mean? 
 On it's own, Hara means "removing", "taking away" and "destroyer."  Shiva is "the one who destroys evil." In Sankrit Hara is one of the many names of Shiva, one of the principal deities in Hinduism and the supreme deity in Shaivism.  There’s a legend that Shiva got the name Hara after the death of his wife Sita, who killed herself after her father snubbed Shiva by not inviting him to a ritual sacrifice.  In anger over death, Shiva sent his army to destroy all at the ceremony.  In the story Shiva of course expresses remorse after this action and restores all to life, in the story or legend it shows the destructive aspects of Shiva, or Hara.  But, to show that destruction makes way for renewal and that Hara, then represents the purifying power of destruction and paves the way for new creation and redemption on both the universal and personal levels.  Hara destroys ignorance, illusion, and evil, all imperfections that must be removed for yogis to continue their inner transformation and spiritual growth along the path to enlightenment.  
This story about Shiva and the Sanskrit word Hara, means so much to me in my life. As, I have been a destroyer in my own life. Not taking care of my body properly, indulgences of toxins, being around toxic energy. Not having enough self-love. So, like myself and other humans on this earthly plane of existence it’s inevitable that we all carry some sort of wounds, scars, blood sweat and tears throughout our journey’s. So, Hara Healing was created to destroy all those destructive aspects in one's life and to pave a pathway for new creations to purify oneself on a journey towards holistic health.

Join us for a transformational walk in the practice of Forest Therapy also known as Forest Bathing. Forest Bathing is a relational practice that brings people into a deeper intimacy with natural places.
